Large Group Preschool Games implies a large group of children involved in large projects and activities.
These activities help children to socialize, to learn to work and play in a team. This is a very important thing. There are moments when nobody can work alone or there are projects that imply many people experience, skills and knowledge. So children are

The plus of these activities is that children are helped to make friends. Everybody knows that children love other children company because the games and activities become more interesting. A lonely child reaches a stage when he starts to have behavior problems that, many times, are hard to be resolved.
There are a lot of games that require a large number of children. For example the children can form two teams. One of the team will ask one of his members to mime an activity, an animal or something of this kind. If the other team guess what it was about then they can choose a member to do the same thing. If the team didn’t guess then they will try to do their better and guess next time because only in this way they can mime a game and wait the other team guess. The play is funny and forces the children to gather all their skills, experience and imagination in order to create the other team great difficulties in guessing.
Another game of this type is to form a circle and ask children to look careful their mates around it. A child will close his eyes while another one from the circle is hiding behind a curtain. Then the child opens his eyes again he must tell who is missing. This kind of game has as purpose to develop children’s spirit of observation. Or children in a circle must follow the indications of their teacher who tells them what direction to spin. It’s an easy way to teach children hat is right hand and what is left hand.
The range of these group activities is a large one, and even if it is about washing hands, pajamas party or recognizing an object with the eyes closed they all have in common the purpose to teach children the elementary things they need every day.
