Polar Bear Preschool Crafts is another theme from the programs proposed for the preschool children from a kindergarten. A preschool child must learn a lot of thing that are around him. He sees a lot of animals, flowers, new things but he doesn’t know what they are, what they are useful for, what is their name and so on.
They become more and more curious and like a sponge, they
absorb every information they hear, see and is taught. However, the high amount of curiosity is hard to be
satisfied, they ask for more every day.
Among the other things he has to learn, there are the animals. Domestic or wild animals are seldom the heroes of the cartoons. Therefore, the kid becomes more curious and wants to learn about all the animals.
A craft that implies polar bears is welcome. The kid saw the bear in cartoons, images, he found out some things about it and now it’s time to try to give his ideas about this animal an image. Crayons, paper, glue, word paints are his tools. What is needed next is his ideas, his imaginations, his patient to give his bear a shape, his creativity. Polar bears are wild animals but because is a kid saw it in cartoons in funny and domestic situations with a kind attitude it’s no wander that kids will humanize it endowing it human gestures, mimic and behavior. At this age animals are for children their gentle friends so if you want to teach your child good manners for example put a bear to tell him about them and you’ll see how quickly your child can learn them. So you can’t do from a bear or other animal from cartoons a bad hero because your child will be confused and you’ll not have the results you expected to.
Using some cloth, children can create their own teddy bears. For the adults the result of this craft can be the ugliest teddy bears they have ever seen. But for children they may be the most beautiful bears from their life because they worked hard to create them, they concentrated all their intellectual, imagination and creative power in this toy and it’s normal to look it with other eyes.
The adult must not forget that children’s world is different from theirs and that children perceive things different. A banality for an adult can be a very important for a child. Now, it is the age when everything is important, there are not commonplaces in the child’s life. If we don’t treat a child accordingly, the results can be a disaster.
