Summer games for Preschool as a theme can speak about a large range of different activities children can do during this season. These games must be instructive, educational and funny.

On summer it’s warm and sunny and children can spend much time in open air. Parks and green spaces must be the main fields of their games. They can do a lot of summer crafts, learn a lot and have a great fun in the same time.

Games that children love much is blindman’s buff or hide and seek. They are always in the mood to play these games that help them use all their energy in a funny way. Then they can play rope and hopscotch, they can make drawings on the pavements and so on.

Once returned inside their classrooms they can play games about water for example. Teacher can bring a bowl with warm water and let every child to wash his hands. This activity has the purpose to teach the children how to wash their hand properly or/and the importance of hygiene.

Then they can imagine they are at a picnic. For this game they can bring from home all the necessary things for this: blankets, baskets where to keep the food, plates, knives and forks, glasses for juices and of course food. The game will be very funny and the children will enjoy it most because they adore going picnic and they don’t waste any occasion to do this. On this occasion they can learn good manners when they serve their meals. An instructive and nice game in the same time.

Another game suggestion refers at phenomena, sun and clouds, winds and rain during the summer time. Children mime these and then discuss about them telling what they know about them. Now teachers can see if children have understood the lessons about these and if they are able to reproduce the information. We can say it is a mind game because it makes children remember all they have learnt since that moment.

Summer games can be a good teacher for the little kids. They can teach them alphabet, numbers and counting, the colors and animals and so on. And because it’s the time of the rainbow, children can learn about the colors that compose it. So they can paint long sheets of papers in the colors of the rainbow and play "run and form a rainbow". Children who are holding the colored paper are spread in the class. At their teacher sign they must run and form the rainbow.

Children love games and what they teach them. So, what is real important is to take care to have always the most interesting and educative games for them.
